So, is Jorge Gurgel just dumb by constantly boxing with better strikers instead of using his highly thought of grappling skills. Or is Gurgel just chasing the money by standing toe-to-toe even if it borderlines on ritualistic suicide?
It seems pretty clear that it's the latter but that doesn't make it honorable just sort of sad and depressing like Heidi Montag getting plastic surgery for her face plastic surgery.

The only part of the officiating that was bad in this fight was the fact that they didn’t stop it after the late shot. And I guess the ref should have been closer to the action to get between them at the end of the first. I don’t understand why everyone was bitching about the stoppage, it seemed like the ref was getting a better vantage point and Gurgel was trying to defend himself until the illegal knee. Don’t get me wrong the fight needed to end but I don’t think the ref really fucked up except he should have disqualified Noons

Terrible Officiating???
I don’t see the officiating as being the worst ever, the offical really should have stopped the fight in a more decisive manner. He should have understood that Jorge had been knocked all the way out about 2 minutes earlier, and that he more than likely had just been knocked out by a nasty 2 punch combo. Yes the fighters should fight until stopped but while KJ was looking at the ref to stop the fight, Jorge really wasn’t moving much, so IMO intellegent defense wasn’t occuring hence the fight should have been stopped.
Imo noons already won the fight and the ref should have jumped on him but he did not even have to do that illegal knee.
is there bad blood between the two?

I don’t like this kid. Gurgel fought a bad fight, but he got smushed. Some very, very suspect officiating, but what can you expect in Strikefarce.
