"I've stated many times that Strikeforce was my number one priority, but after Fedor lost to Werdum, I had no intention of fighting somebody other than Werdum. I came to the States to challenge the winner of the fight and that was Werdum, so no need to fight somebody else."
Alistair Overeem
I agree, why fight Fedor? He lost. Werdum or bust.

I agree.
Fedor still has a huge draw, but he’s lost a ton of leverage after his last encounter. He’ll have to wait to fight Overoids, but I’m sure the king of cans has no problem sitting on his duff until then.

i agree with that….why should he fight a guy who lost his last fight (Fedor or not) , i mean Overeem is champ after all…
but hey as im writing this…he did fight Rogers after he lost …wierd huh?

i understand your point...
but i can see overeem really not wanting to make a trend out of this. 1 title defense after the challenger is coming off a loss, that was weird enough… but 2? come on.
I'm old school hating Lesnar, I've been hating Lesnar since '08
I'm going to start being the BE or KidNate of commenters, I'm just going to copy and paste your comments and say "I agree & Dana White sucks!"
