He had a chaotic year; he was hospitalized, was close to never fighting again, had two kids born and came back to mma as the champ and won that fight after a heart-wrenching first round.

Problem is, that agrees with Toney's assessment.
I think if Toney were talking about a boxer who had acted the way Brock did when he got hit, he’d actually have a reasonable point.
This ain’t boxing, though. Disengaging is nowhere near cowardly, it’s sometimes the only reasonable option available. People don’t complain when someone like Cro Cop works a standup to escape a dominant GnP fighter’s top control, because they understand that it’s the right move for him. Same with Brock disengaging (albeit somewhat hilariously) from Carwin’s striking onslaught.

Brock has heart, just very poor striking defense
two completely different things, I still think Cain is a bad style match up for Brock.
Lesnars size is his biggest advantage in that fight and the longer it goes it will become a weakness. Can’t wait.
