Around SBN: Dana White Announces Koscheck vs. Hendricks for UFC on FOX

The Easter Bunny is just a guy in a suit!?!?!?!

***Disclaimer 1***  I wrote this right after the fight but I tried to preview it and I was blocking popups and I thought it disappeared, but today I went and changed my profile and saw it was still there so I am posting it now

Disclaimer 2

So this is my first FanPost so I'll be brief.  Full Disclosure, I am a terrible writer, and have a piss poor command of the english language...

To start, I'm a total BJ fan.  He was the first fighter that I really bought into the hype for.  He came, he saw he conquered, for quite a while.  The Prodigy,  one of the few times the nickname fit.  His win loss record isn't the best by just looking at it, but then you look a little bit closer.  Before Frankie Edgar, the only guy to beat BJ twice was GSP and I feel like BJ won the first fight, but that's not really the point, those fights were at 170.  The other losses were Hughes, Machida and Pulver.  All legends or fights outside 155.  The first guy that I realised had the total package.  Then came "The Answer"  (who's nickname fits oddly enough) Who had the perfect gameplan and strategy it seems (styles make fights is an old boxing adage that just doesn't get used enough), just out speed the patient counterstiking approach of BJ and not be (too) afraid of the JJ.  If it would have been a closer fight I'd probably be making excuses, BJ needs a new camp or some other such bullshit (I do think he would have more success if he'd use his JJ more, but building the takedowns necessary to get the wrestlers to their backs is probably not going to happen, again not the point of the post, but ya know) .  The reality is that Edgar dominated BJ.  It's like finding out that Santa is just an anagram for Satan, the Easter Bunny is just a guy in a suit and Sham Wows don't really work.  Not much else to say.  I'm gonna go cry now

So I guess I'll just go ahead and say Thanks for being the first guy in the UFC that I thought was the absolute shit, you went against their pay policies before the internet had an anti Zuffa bias, you always fight to fight, not to win a decision, and you are just one Tough Mother Fucker that will fight anyone, anytime, any weight.   Respect to one of the alltime greats that I believe is getting written off too soon.

Thanks much...

Appreciate the support. I’m not much of a writer, but I hope my point got across well enough…

watch the commercial

you know how they spill soda, then put the sham-wow on it to soak it ALL up? Watch closely…

He pours the soda on the carpet. youll notice it goes through and u can see the puddle under the carpet. Then it cuts to his face and he says “watch this” or something. and back tot he carpet- youll notice the puddle under the carpet is magically gone before he even puts the sham-wow down on it.

WOW the shamwow sucked ALL the liquid up even udner the carpet woooow. No sir, they cleane that puddle before sham-wowing it.

but what do u expect? that dude punched his hooker

That dude got bit. That’s one of those “maybe” type of situations. I would never hit a woman, but when you bite me to damage me, you become a beast.

I've been bit in a fight before

I really didn’t freak out so much like people say you do. I just stuck my fingers in his mouth and ripped on his cheek till he went where I wanted him to go. Just sayin

i got bit by a stripper once and the manager made her give me 250 dollars of lap dances

no blood, but some teeth indentations

I'm all about covering the spread and moneylines. Glory favors the bold. Chance favors the prepared mind. Luck, well i have that too. University of Utah goes to the Pac-12 conference in 2011. I expect them to compete immediately for the conference CG. Brock Lesnar will defeat Cain Velasquez. Womens MMA, the next big thing in sports. Utah and Boise take care of business in week one. Don't be surprised if they both go undefeated.

Good on you for being honest. Losing two rounds = losing a three round fight 99% of the time.

He really lost the second round. As much as I am for takedowns being scored, go watch it again, honestly what did GSP do better than BJ other than outwrestle him. It was close but I really think that BJ won that round.

And I just smashed that dead horse

lol yes u did

I always saw that fight as a 28-28. I consider myself much more liberal with giving 9 or 8 point rounds (anything is liberal compared to these judges terrified to give an 8 point round) I havent watched the fight for a while, but I’ve seen it a number of times and always thought round 1 was a 10-8 and then GSP got two 10-9’s
