Bas Rutten willing to train BJ Penn
I recently got to interview MMA legend and pioneer Bas Rutten. When asked if he thought it was time for BJ Penn to switch training camps and teams he didn't surprise me by saying yes, but really surprised me by saying he sees problems in Penn and his fighting, and offered to help him train. better setup that fight between penn and gomi while there is still interest?
I'm all about covering the spread and moneylines. Glory favors the bold. Chance favors the prepared mind. Luck, well i have that too. University of Utah goes to the Pac-12 conference in 2011. I expect them to compete immediately for the conference CG. Brock Lesnar will defeat Cain Velasquez. Womens MMA, the next big thing in sports. Utah and Boise take care of business in week one. Don't be surprised if they both go undefeated.

Don't pull a Strikeforce!
I’d suggest setting it up for that Nov fight Penn will have. That or set gomi up with a very winable fight so he can get a title shot after

I dont think it would be any different than Penn v Gomi I
Penn v Hughes III anywho
makes sense. They dont want to ruin the upcoming LW title challengers (ala Franklin after the Silva losses) sooo, why not give him all the WW’s that we dont want to see GSP fight again?

I'm super excited about BJ/Hughes III
I don’t understand all the hate on this matchup, I think it’s great.

bas’ answer for everything is, “well it’s this simple, all he had to do was xyz”.
the guy stopped fighting awhile back. things have changed. i don’t feel like he takes into account how much the level of guys coming into the sport has changed.
that and who has he ever groomed/brought up from the basics that we’ve heard of? guys go train with him for a bit, if that, then they move on.
i’m not saying it’s all bas’ fault….but if he’s as good a trainer as he thinks…i can’t help but think he’d have some legit guys under this tutelage now.
Gatti. Dekkers. Pele. Aoki. Kang. Vanderlei. Basillio. Harry Greb.
