Print"The New York Badass" Phil Baroni recently competed against up-and-comer Brad Tavares at UFC 125, suffering a 1st round defeat. It was Baroni's 2nd loss in the cage and many feared that the fan-favorite fighter would be cut from the UFC. Those fears were actualized when the UFC released Baroni earlier this week. Baroni was dejected as were many of his fans. Though his Twitter tweets suggested disappointment, many near him felt he would pull through in due time. Those feelings changed this morning when Phil Baroni hit rock bottom. Phil Baroni posted on Sherdog.

loves the Dog. He always has. Once upon a time a lot of fighters posted there until the trolls chased them off. Bas Rutten has some legendary shit on that forum. However, Phil refused to leave because of trolls, he just trolled them back. I had a number of good convo’s with him on the site.

On february 5th 2011 at UFC 126 Jon "Bones" Jones will show the world that their was no need for the MMA community to hype this man because this guy is a beast with many skills and i personally will feel Ryan "Darth" Bader's pain after this fight. SB Nation's public enemy #1.
