UFC 104 Bonuses and Gate
UFC 104 Bonuses
- Stefan Struve was awarded $60,000 for "Submission of the Night"
- Pat Barry was awarded $60,000 for "Knockout of the Night"
- Pat Barry and Antoni Hardonk were both awarded $60,000 for "Fight of the Night"
Anthony Johnson may have knocked out Yoshiyuki Yoshida but he was ineligible to win "Knockout of the Night" due to missing weight by six pounds.
UFC 104 did a live gate of $1.9 million and a total attendance of 16,000. We know that at least 3,300 tickets were given away for free and there is no telling how many more tickets were comps.
[Update: Note by Zak Woods, 10/27/09 4:53 PM EDT ]
New figures put the total attendance at 14,892. There is a strong possibility that UFC 104 sold less than 10,000 tickets. I guess that means it will be three more years before Zuffa decides to go back to L.A.
